Tuna Pasta



8 ounces whole wheat pasta
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 zucchini, washed and chopped
1½ cups spaghetti or pasta sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tuna packed in water, drained
Pepper to taste
2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese

  1. Cook pasta according to the package, drain.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and zucchini. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in pasta sauce. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add drained tuna into the sauce mixture. Stir just enough to heat tuna.
  5. Add pepper to taste. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce. Stir the pasta and the sauce mixture until combined.
  6. Serve hot.
