Salsa and Pinto Beans


Servings: 
6-8

Ingredients: 

1 tablespoon olive oil or canola oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced (or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder)
2 cans (15 ounces) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup salsa




Directions: 
  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender.
  3. Stir in the beans and salsa.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice, pasta, or baked potato.
